The Sedalia area is served by Empire District Gas Company.  Natural gas service is available along Highway 50 West of Sedalia to Dresden and East of Sedalia to Otterville.  For applicable rate data, transportation charges and extension costs, please furnish delivery point of location and MCF of connected load.  You may view rate data by visiting Empire District Gas Rates.

Monthly Sewage Rates:   

Inside City Limits:  User charges will be based on monthly average water.  Usage during the months of December, January and February.  Fixed charge is $2.12 and $1.98 per 1,000 gallon usage.  (minimum of $4.10)

Outside City Limits:  $1.98 per thousand gallons plus $6.25 fixed service charge.  ($8.23 minimum)

Landfill Capacity Level:  Central Missouri Landfill total capacity is 6,660,000 tons.
